About Ms Mina

Ms Mina at Palm Harbor Montessori

I would like to tell you something about myself. This is my second year teaching at Palm Harbor Montessori. I have fifteen years plus of teaching experience, in both a traditional and a Montessori school setting. I am a graduate of the University of Toronto with a double major in Psychology and Art. I completed my Teacher’s College at Medaille College in Buffalo, graduating with a Master’s of Education in Science. I received my Montessori training at AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) in Toronto. I was lucky enough to have had Renilde Montessori as one of my trainers. I love teaching and I love being a mom to my two wonderful children. I am first generation Italian, born in Canada. As a result, I am fluent in Italian and I can read and write French. My speaking skill in French is of a conversational level. My favorite sports to watch are soccer and hockey. The only sport I play is soccer. I am so happy to be here at Palm Harbor Montessori.

Dear Parents! Can you believe it? Another school year is here already. I would like to say welcome and I am looking forward to getting to know you as the year progresses. I am excited about this school year. I am happy to be teaching your children. If you have any questions, please contact me anytime.

It was nice meeting you at the orientations. I would like to thank you for following up with the procedures; such as: providing mud shoes and labeling your child’s items with permanent marker.

I will be handing out the Sharing Basket schedule on September 2nd. These few weeks we will be going over classroom rules and expectations; which can be summed up in one word respect; that is respect for oneself, others, and the Montessori materials.
