News from Ms. Mina’s Primary Class
Hello parents and happy spring. I can not believe that it is already April. First of all, I would like to thank you for all of your support for B.A.S.H. this year. It was a great success. We appreciate your generosity. Earth day this year will be celebrated on April 25th. The NMS students will serve pancakes as usual. Senior Elementary will do a special presentation with the maypole. The primary classes will sing songs and recite a poem celebrating the earth. One song will be in Spanish. We are practicing every day. The children are looking forward to the earth day ceremonies. After the ceremonies, there will be arts and crafts activities that have to do with recycling. I am excited about all of the challenging work that is happening in the classroom. The older children are working on the collective exercises – division and writing every day and the younger children are continuing with lessons appropriate for their age. The children are enjoying observing the caterpillars on our milkweed plant. This leads to interesting conversations on transformations that occur in spring time.

Hello Parents! As the academic year is coming to an end, I feel so fortunate to have worked with wonderful children. I am proud of the kindergarteners for having mastered many lessons. This Thursday May 29th is their moving on ceremony. I wish them the best for their next academic year and I will miss them. I would like to thank the parents for their gifts during Teacher Appreciation week. I really felt appreciated. I would also like to thank Shea Taylor for her help as a room mom. I would also like to thank Erica Etjeke for her volunteering during the BASH. In general, I would like to thank all the parents for their support. It has been a wonderful academic year.
