April News

Ms. Pamela and Ms. Justine

Spring has arrived ~ it’s amazing how quickly the days are flying by.  The children are blossoming; each and every one of them has made great strides.

It was my honor meeting with you for our Spring conference.  Chatting about your children is beneficial for all of us.

The B.A.S.H. is just around the corner and I hope to see you there.  This is a great way to meet with other families and enjoy great food and camaraderie.

Mark your calendars:  APRIL 20TH ~ 6 TO 10 p.m.

Sincere thanks to Patty Deninno-Megura for making a great table for the auction! The children had a great time painting this and it is quite special!

Tausha Sidbury keeps us all informed and is always “there” to lend a helping hand and I can’t thank her enough for all she does for our classroom.

Our class is also creating a “Craft Basket”.  Many of you have sent in wonderful items and we thank you.  If you haven’t yet contributed and would like to, we still have lots of room for more arts and crafts.

We will be celebrating Earth Day on Friday, April 26th and hope you can join us.  In keeping with this we’ll be concentrating on ways to help our planet during this month ~reducing, re-using, and recycling.  We’ll also be doing some gardening, and if you’d like to send something in, we would love that.  The garden centers sell the individual plants for 99 cents.  If each child brought in just one, we’d have a flurry of color ~ and they beam when they bring in something to share.

“The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences.” Dr. Maria Montessori.

Treasure your children ~~  Play together, sing and dance, take a walk….  Make lots of memories!!

With love,

Pamela and Justine
