Parent Involvement is essential to our community

Parents are encouraged to become involved with school activities. As a community, our students benefit by parents sharing their special interests and talents. There are numerous ways you can volunteer your talents at our school. Assisting in library day (walking with the children across the street), PTO, being a field trip driver, room parent, gardening parent, sharing cultural experiences, coaching our sports teams, sharing musical abilities, professional skills, Yearbook Assistance, Thanksgiving Feast Committee, Earth Day Committee, International Picnic Committee and volunteering during internship week.

A Scholarship Heritage (B.A.S.H.) Committee is always looking for new volunteers to help us in raising scholarship money for students.

Each year we schedule Community Meetings, Parent Education Nights and other special parent events regarding your children’s programs. We strongly encourage all parents to attend so they are able to understand the methods and practices at Palm Harbor Montessori Academy.

We appreciate everyone’s participation not only for their educational value but also for the joy it brings to the children when they see their parents actively involved in their educational process and aiding to enrich our environments. Feel free to contact your child’s teacher or call the front office to find out how you can get involved.
